On 18th May, we were honoured by a visit of a delegation consisting of the newly elected president of Iceland, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson and the Faroese prime minister, Aksel V. Johannesen.
Regin Jacobsen, CEO of Bakkafrost, initiated the visit with a short presentation of the company, and then the delegation had a guided tour through Bakkafrost’s completely new headquarters located in Glyvrar. The facility consists of the main office and the processing plant. The visit ended with taste samples of Bakkafrost’s delicious salmon.
