Purpose

The purpose of Bakkafrost’s whistleblower system is to provide employees and external stakeholders with a safe and secure way to report concerns about potential misconduct or violations of internal policies or applicable laws.

This may include, for example, issues related to health and safety, food safety, environmental matters, workplace conduct, or other serious concerns.

 

Procedure

When using the whistleblower system, you will be asked to submit a report describing your concern. You can submit your report in writing or by recording a message. Reports are handled through an independent, secure platform called Whistleblower Software. Your report will then be reviewed by a limited number of the senior HR team within Bakkafrost.

You can choose to report your concern either confidentially or anonymously. If you choose to remain anonymous, you may still be able to receive feedback and communicate with case handlers through the platform.

All reports are treated seriously and will be handled promptly, fairly and in accordance with internal procedures, and/or applicable national laws.
